The completed tracks on Masuda's new album impressed on me a musical purity, heartwarming sketches on sounds. As Masuda explains, "I hope the album will simply be music material." I'v known him not only as an aggressive activist speaking out eccentric messages but as a great guy to be with on a picnic. He took us down to one of his surprising open-air recreation, 'THE PICNIC IN SHIMIN-NO-MORI'. His friendly care of others shows another, secret side of him. People think he is something of an oddball. It hid the caring, loving person he is inside. In my book, He is such a cross between eccentricity and hospitality. by NAGAHARA ICHIRO
