Bass player Gaku ANDO and drummer Keita KAMIYAMA (MIZUKAGAMI) formed HEIWADO somewhere around the year 2005. Its basic attitude of the band is: "Let's act loosely, but continuously and creatively !". And the least we can say is that its concept is really loose ! HEIWADO was first based on the interaction between twin drums, twin basses and no guitar. After various members going in and out, the group settled with the arrival of two multi-instrumentists, Masanori OHTANI and Kei YAMAMOTO. The first one plays drums, persussions, saxophone and guitar, while the second one performs on cello, bass and keyboards. Since the musical influences of the musicians are so diverse, it is very difficult to classify "Soundtrack" (Musea Parallèle, 2015) in a specific genre. Mostly improvised, this beautiful music is meant to create a variety of images in the listener's mind. To be discovered !
